Programmable Pipettor with speech recognition
Situation:
Our customer required an electronic pipettor for liquid handling in laboratory environments. This new device required increased precision plus simple and quick programming.
Solution:
Venture determined that speech recognition would meet the customer’s user interface goals. The Venture team designed compact electronics and embedded software that included a low-cost DC motor drive, a speaker-independent speech recognition sub-system, and a flexible PC board to minimize product size and weight.
Result:
The client launched what was the only speech recognition pipettor on the market.
